The Animal Flower Cave is one of the oldest tourist attractions in Barbados, located at the most northerly point of the island. The name "Animal Flower Cave" comes from the Sea Anemones found in the pools of the cave. Cherry Tree Hill is part of the St. Nicholas Abbey plantation and border the parishes of St. Peter and St. Andrew. It is believed that the name “Cherry Tree Hill”, originated from the many cherry trees which existed here. However, they were replaced with mahogany trees which presently line the road.
